Somewhere in our community this Christmas, there is a child who is hungry, a
breadwinner out of a job, or an elderly person in need of a helping
hand. |

This year Catholic Charities of the
Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston asks that you Share Your Blessings
and become an Angel Sponsor. Catholic Charities has identified more than
4,500 clients in need of the most basic items such as food, clothing,
grocery gift cards, personal hygiene items, household items and toys.
Angel Sponsors have the option of choosing to sponsor an individual or
family or make a financial contribution. Angels wanting to sponsor an
individual or family should contact Catholic Charities to obtain a
client wish list. Angel Sponsors simply wanting to give a small gift for
general distribution can also drop off individuals items at Catholic
Charities located at 2900 Louisiana.
We are also very pleased to announce that Save-a-lot has agreed to
serve as a drop off location making it easier to make a donate to this
worthy cause. |

Spanish, simply means lodging or shelter. Nowadays, the posada has
evolved into a religious and social celebration, paying a festive homage to
the journey. |
